Shri Sumanbhai Rangjibhai Bhabhor Arts College Singvad is one of the most leading colleges in the educationally and socially backward tribal area of Dahod District. The college was established in 1999 by the great vision of most towering and dominating personality in the area honourable Member of Parliament Shri Jashwantsinhji Sumanbhai Bhabhor saheb. Earlier also he has represented as a various ministers in Gujarat Government. He has started the college on the name of his father Shri Sumanbhai Rangjibhai Bhabhor saheb. It was his father’s dream that the students of this area should not remain uneducated and they shouldn’t face any difficulty to go outside for degree courses. I joined the college in the year 1999 and worked as an incharge principal upto 2008. After taking charge of the Principal in the college, I took few initiatives to start more courses in the college for the benefit of tribal students. It is indeed pride for me to work in this college under the great encouragement from the management. I have great experience in both academic and administration in the college. So it is indeed a challenge to maintain the great name and reputation of the founders of college. More number of student’s oriented activities is organized through N.S.S, Counselling Cell, CWDC and other Extra Co- curricular activities to encourage them. The whole staff members are active, enthusiastic and hard working and working with great interest in the faith and goodwill of students.
