Hindi department was started in 1999 with the establishment of the college. Hindi is taught in the college as a Core subject only at the U.G level. At Present, there are two faculty members in Hindi Department. The Head of the Department is Dr. Girishkumar S. Kishori, Associate Professor who joined the college in August, 1999 as a part time lecturer and become permanent faculty in December, 2000. Another faculty member is Dr. Govind K. Nandaniya, Assistant Professor who joined the college in the year 2012. Dr. Govind K Nandaniya is recognized Ph. D Supervisor in Shri Govind guru University, Godhra. At present three research scholars are pursuing their Ph. D under his guidance. Apart from the teaching work, many co-curricular activities are organized by the department aiming at all round development of the students. They are informed to get acquainted with the new developments in the field of language and literature in Hindi. They have been preparing students to become self reliant and self confident. With all the efforts from the department the performance of students in the internal and in the University exams are getting better and students are excelled in all the spheres of life.
The department is organizing seminars, presentations and giving assignments to students for writing. The faculty members are discussing on current topics in General knowledge and they are using innovative ways of teaching, facilitating research to facilitate students.
